I'd meant to do Han/Lucy space pirates fluff, too, since the prompter just asked for the pairing with "discovery," but once I got to thinking about it, the idea of a 'verse with the Death Star not getting destroyed and Lucy flying around the galaxy and discovery led straight to family revelations. And there's no real way that wouldn't be depressing as hell. So I guess it succeeded! But yeah, just a bit painful.
