I imagine a lot of it involves secretly corresponding with Elizabeth until the Grand Reconciliation, when she does it openly (but still keeps secrets, like: Elizabeth's opinion on everything. Darcy's opinion on most things. Elizabeth having political aspirations for Darcy. Also: Maria's flirtations, Mrs Bennet's undying hatred of them both, any illness Mr Bennet has, any time she doesn't take Lady Catherine's advice...).
