It would really be a partnership, because I can totally see Darcy wanting to Fix The World, Or At Least England, but he'd have to talk to people, and make alliances and mostly Family Duty compels him, while Elizabeth is much less of an idealist but a born hostess and it's like political tag-teaming! (I am convinced that Darcy's name is a pretty strong political allusion, so. But also that their combined abilities would make them awesome at it, and Elizabeth thinks it's great fun besides.)
