*beams* Thank you! Yes, it's - well, part analysis of them as characters, and as a couple - e.g., I've seen their lives as boringly perfect, which isn't how I see them, and I've also seen them as terribly dysfunctional, which is contradicted by the text itself. I think they are so similar in so many ways that they'll usually agree about anything significant - but when they don't, it'll be EPIC WARFARE, pretty much. In their different ways, of course (oh, and it was definitely fun to track down and consider how they lose their tempers - Elizabeth's explosions and rants against Darcy's chilly rage.)

And partly, of course, just making them happy. ;)

Hee! I've rewritten that line w/ every posting, but that's the one I'm happiest with, I think. Esp because, yes, they're completely uncompromising. (Frankly, wonderful as they are, it'd be unnecessary cruelty to inflict them on most other people.)
