Interruption to the broadcast: concerning icons!

Some of you are new, and I don't think I've ever mentioned it anyway, so:

I have a lot of icons on this account (it's about 80% of the reason I shell out for my premium account), and I've been fairly rigorous about their organization. I mention this not only to brag, but because I wanted to share my standard procedure!

Keywords: this is what you see when you go to select an icon for a post or reply. So I choose a name that will help me remember which one it is; the one I used for this is just "leia [buns]," for instance.

Comment: this is where I credit the icon maker. I'm not very good at graphics, so only a handful are mine; instead, I take them from other people's icon posts (when those people say they're okay with it) and say 'made by: x' in this section. 

Description: a literal description of what the icon looks like as an accessibility thing; I'm not great at this but I try to always put something.

So if you happen to like one of my *squints* 146 icons, then you can totally take it! Just go to the icon page I linked above and the necessary information will already be there. Feel free to take the attribution etc with it.

If I made it and for some reason you want the icon, you are also free to do this. :)

Somewhat OT, but it is so great to me to see so much longform meta and fandom talk back on a feed I read regularly and review some of your "best of"s and not have to worry about gifs exploding in my face. If you happen to know people I used to follow on tumblr/should follow post-migration, please point them to me. (FYI, possible mutuals: I am variations of the-lion-machine on other platforms)

Thank you so much, seriously! It's great to have actual conversations again—hah, I was just thinking the other day that I hadn't talked to you guys in ages, and then Tumblr imploded. And I prefer Dreamwidth by a mile, so I'm honestly thrilled to be here and have actual discussions and, of course, icons.
