The full D&D group got back together on Discord! It was mostly super fun just to talk to everyone again, but also, I impulsively cast Minor Illusion on a nearby field before a battle, and the enemies kept losing their checks to figure out where the screaming was coming from during the battle.

(I've never played anyone with "Minor Illusion" before, so it was just like ... "haha, that would be funny" and then the enemies died before ever figuring out what it was.)

In this case, it’s even wilder than that, because this guy is convinced this and other equally bizarre ‘shadow stories’ are 100% Austen’s intention and deeply meaningful for her.
