I glanced at the notes on a post about Xiran Jay Zhao (who is actually on Tumblr) and they were full of antis clutching their pearls about Zhao's dastardly proshipper ways and how this freakishness explains why their(Zhao's) debut novel is partly inspired by anime (...........). It was batshit and nearly all the notes were like that, which I was genuinely surprised by at this point in Tumblr's life-cycle. I just don't see a lot of them there these days. But apparently they're clinging on to relevance in some quarters.
