I could definitely see him sticking around the Dark Side for a while, yes. But not permanently, and definitely not 15+ years. (I think it's around eight for the raising-Lucy-and-Leia story, which was about as far as I could go without it starting to seem ridiculous.)

Well, there is the fact that Luke wasn't sidelined from his own legacy, yes. But also, Owen and Beru aren't complicit in the kidnapping, either -- Obi-Wan just deposits him with them and they do their best. So he can be 'ack, we were kidnapped' without tainting his memories of them.

I'm not really sure where Luke is at wrt Obi-Wan and Yoda at the end of ROTJ. He seems pretty annoyed at the whole psyching-to-patricide thing. But because of that, he already knows that they're capable of some messed-up stuff, so I don't think it'd be especially difficult for him to acknowledge that they also masterminded his kidnapping. I don't imagine Leia would care about their part, but Bail's? Yeah. (I imagine this is more of an issue once they realize that it wasn't just Vader/not-Vader, but that they have an aunt and grandparents who were completely ignored.)
