Fandom is much about the sex and so often dismissive of "friends" that I keep thinking I should write meta about something between the "a/b" and "a&b" something for family, for like brothers-in-arms/would die for each other, for platonic but soulmate-like levels of friendship. The & can be just co-workers who like each other in a fic.
And then I think sure it would muddy the waters and no-one wants that, and no-one else really cares. But every time I see someone complain about the "only tag / for romance" I feel it's a discussion we should haven.
