Ooh, thanks! Drabbles are fun - short enough that I can actually start and finish them all at once, and an excellent storage facility for plot bunnies. That's what this one was, anyway - storing my idea for a sort of anti-Parent Trap: Tom trying to court Elizabeth while her children plot to undermine him. And the fen could only make it even more farcical, since I felt reasonably certain that they'd take the kids' side.
