I understand the point mathematically, but ngl, I don't think this has kept Hillary Clinton awake a night in her life.

I HEARD THAT. Argh. Also, the white male vote isn't even mathematically relevant; Romney's loss in 2012 demonstrated that you can win the white male vote by a landslide and still lose the Presidency. The Obama Coalition mathematically eliminates them from play.

They're vastly less important than they used to be, definitely! They could help get the landslide victory we're hoping for (iirc Trump is actually losing among college-educated whites, though on average his supporters are wealthier than HRC's—in a shocking twist, lol), but if we can get anything like the Obama turnout, it doesn't matter.

It's a nice fuzzy feeling!
