I had trouble figuring out how to read the characters' voices in the opening chapter of The Jedi and the Sith Lord (finally, we're at my baby!). But the droids are too fun to just read in my standard voice with no variation, esp given that I tried for some of the canon inflection with Threepio in Adventures and Imperial, so I finally came up with concepts that made it manageable.
Of the three droids in Ch 1, it's probably Tuvié (surprisingly!) who came out sounding the least like my conception of her, which used to be a sort of high-pitched, bubbly Threepio ... but my voice doesn't work that way, so I decided to just lean into style and go for "over-eager hospitality student" vibes instead.
