I’m not even a CoH blog, but … “She was not conquered” might be my favorite line that Tolkien ever wrote in anything.

Éowyn's speech to Aragorn and Erendis's to Ancalimë are also realllllly high up the list, but that is just a perfect mix of fuck yeah and unutterably sad. T_T
