September: share a comment or review which still warms your heart?

I’ve gotten a lot of really nice responses over the years, but one that very particularly warmed my heart was an AO3 bookmark on my weird annotated Guild Wars 2 gen OC fic in my 7x7 format, which (understandably) almost no one reads.
I don’t even go here? But like… the writing’s really good? And you can tell the author is hella salty? And that makes me happy.
I don’t know them, but … <333
Ancient: the first fic you ever posted online?
Back at Emyn Arnen, the Éowyn/Faramir forum where I first delurked, I posted some scraps of a universe where the … imo fairly clear implication that Faramir was supposed to go to Rivendell is what actually happens, and my friends there posted their own little scraps - it was a super fun way to begin online fanfic! And happily absent the BUT IF DIFFERENT THAN CANON THEN DISASTER!!!! discourse that often surrounds the scenario, so it was a nice nurturing little circle.
Really, despite the occasional weird/unpleasant comments and my own erratic tendencies, my fanfic history has been mostly pleasant. But that was a particularly pleasant way to begin—with online fic anyway. My first actual fic was for Secret of Mana when I was seven or eight, and gradually became my novel.
