I'm really excited. Much as I love your other f/f E/D fic, I do always have to suspend disbelief to swallow Catherine Darcy being friends with the Bingleys. Not because she would like Mr. Bingley any less, but because the gender segregation of the day would mean that, in practice, she'd have to spend so much more time with his sisters ...
Thank you! You might be thinking of a different fic, since my other f!Darcy 'verse is het, but the same issue applies—her desire for Bingley to someday marry Georgiana seems unlikely to be strong enough for Catherine to spend that much time with his sisters to no direct purpose. Darcy may not wholly dislike them at first, but I think it's clear that they strain his patience, and I could only think it would be worse for Catherine.
(On top of that, in the re-telling fic, I adjusted Catherine and Henry's ages to correspond to Darcy and Elizabeth's fairly gender-typical ages at marriage, but there's no reason to do that in this fic, and I think the five years between Bingley and Catherine would a) register pretty differently across gender lines and b) influence how their paths cross at all, given the difference of social position.)
