I semi-responded to an anon asking about whether Darcy should really be considered an INTJ, as he usually is:

Anon—that’s an interesting question that I unfortunately don’t have the time (at the moment!) for getting into in much depth, so for right now, I’ll just say that:

- the MBTI has a lot of problems, but yes, I test as an INTJ

- yes, I think Darcy is definitely one

- IMO his mistakes not only don’t contradict a dominant Ni but come from an over-reliance on it; it’s really hard for me to see him as an S of any kind

People on Twitter are complaining about Rogue One for some reason, and a lot of the criticisms are the ones I made myself, and also HOW DARE

I haven't changed my mind about them, and it's still like ... how does it feel to be that wrong?????

(Though the people who are like "sure, but the Vader scene is great!" are also Wrong. It was great but it's nothing like a sole redeeming feature *grumble*. Shout-out to the people talking about the A+ acting and cinematography, though. Writing is important! But a film is not a novel! The writing can't and shouldn't be the sole metric of its artistic quality! THANKS AND GOODBYE.)

The SFWA just linked to an interesting opportunity for original fic writers, and since some follow me, I thought I’d share it. It’s a (paid) fellowship/mentorship/retreat thing for unpublished, diverse women to refine their manuscripts, learn about publishing, and get access to agents.

The super fun thing about Noatak and Tarrlok’s story is the note (I think back on one of the extra features in ATLA) that bloodbending opens the mind to homicidal madness.
