She's just the best. Lines from The Magic in the Weaving are still in my head well over ten years on - especially the moment Briar says he'd have sworn she wasn't scared of anything, and she says, "well, now you know. I'm afraid of the dark." Like she's fearless even about letting the impression of fearlessness go.
