Once upon a time, my ten-year-old foster-sister knew nothing other than Disney. She had trouble finding anything more complicated, but she was always into the exciting bits. My mother wondered if I knew of anything that might be a little more challenging, but still straightforward enough for her to follow.
Naturally, I suggested A New Hope. More complex, yes. Difficult to follow, no. My mother decided that the fleeting glance at Owen and Beru's charred skeletons wouldn't be too brain-scarring, so we sat down to watch it.
