Okay, fine

I grew up poor and still approach financial matters as we did in my childhood, i.e. avoid spending anything unless absolutely necessary. I buy groceries with the utmost reluctance, even when I’m not the one paying.

But I finally caved and got a paid account with the Washington Post. I'm increasingly disenchanted with NPR and NYT, and WaPo has been doing God's work this cycle. A dollar for this month, ten dollars a month afterwards.

Bleh. (Yet worthwhile!)
