Heeeeh, it's not posted anywhere yet -- just a couple of pages stuffed in a googledoc (entitled "self-indulgent AU"). And it's kind of cracky, with little Lucy and Leia annoyed that Aunt Sola won't let them have matching frilly dresses but always glad when Uncle Palpatine comes to visit because he brings the nicest presents.
Aha, thanks about Bail. It's one of the more uncomfortable ramifications of the skeeviness of that scene, but ... yeah. And I suspect that Luke's easy equation of natural with real would be difficult enough without also equating their fostering/adoption with kidnapping. So I think she'd justify it in her mind at first, but her innate sense of justice would make it difficult, especially once they track down the Naberries and they're all PADMÉ'S BABIES OMG!!111! And yeah, the good father vs bad father thing would probably break down a little at that point, and it'd be more ... just fathers.
