I kept trying to find a way to have them meet without it being All About Anakin and it was not working, ha, until I had my WAIT THEY'RE DEAD epiphany. Poor Arissa, though.
I mean, it's PT-era fic, there is going to be death and dying. BAWWWW.
So much truth. (Occasionally people will talk about how Vader killed ZILLIONS OF PEOPLE in the OT. It's like "um, possibly you have got the happy trilogy where Vader's murders consist of (1) maybe five people, and (2) many lulz confused with the super depressing one.)
This was stark in very authentic ways
