On one level, I'm like ... lol, wild that Tumblr user "pure" would utterly fail to comprehend the criticisms of purity culture wrt kink and fandom, or bother researching the actual origins of puritanism, or try to figure out how the term is even used colloquially, and would instead awkwardly try to link critics with Elon Musk and nun fetishizing to present neo-Victorian vapors over sexuality as ideologically, well, pure.
