Tagset cleanup is complete! We got rid of a few doubles, and made the following changes to streamline things:

Pokemon - All Media Types

• The ships Ingo/Warden Ingo and S!Emmet/S!Ingo/S!Warden Ingo were moved to Pokemon Black & White. The ship S!Emmet/S!Ingo was removed as Sibling!Emmet/Sibling!Ingo already existed under Pokemon Black & White.

Arcane: League of Legends (Cartoon 2021)

• The ship Bio S!Jinx/Bio S!Vi was removed as S!Jinx/S!Vi already existed in the tagset. They are already biological siblings in canon; if you have specific wants (such as half-sisters), please use your ODs to specify. Bio S!Powder/Bio S!Vi was changed to S!Powder/S!Vi.

The Owl House (Cartoon) (collapsed for spoilers)

Brother's clone!Hunter/Brother!Philip Wittebane (The Owl House)
N!Hunter/A!Philip Wittebane (The Owl House)

These ships were changed to "Brother's clone!Hunter/Brother!Philip Wittebane (The Owl House)" and "Brother's son!Hunter/Uncle!Philip Wittebane (The Owl House)" respectively to help avoid accidental id mismatches. 

If you want this ship as its canonical form, where Hunter is Caleb's clone being raised by Philip as his nephew, request "Brother's clone!Hunter/Brother!Philip Wittebane (The Owl House)". If you want this ship where Hunter is Caleb's clone and being raised knowingly as his clone, request "Brother's clone!Hunter/Brother!Philip Wittebane (The Owl House)" and use your optional details to prompt that (but your creator can't be forced to write that). If you want this ship as an AU where Hunter is Caleb's biological son, request "Brother's son!Hunter/Uncle!Philip Wittebane (The Owl House).

We have been receiving an increasing number of incorrectly formatted nominations and have begun to reject them. If your nominations were rejected, please double-check that you formatted them correctly. If you believe we made a mistake, please drop us a line. To avoid rejections, please re-familiarize yourself with the rules. If a nomination has not yet been approved or rejected, there is time to fix it. There will be another round of approvals this evening (Eastern Time).

In short: please remember to add a bang clarifying the relationship (even if the incest is canon!) or drop us a line clarifying how the ship is related if it cannot be summed up in a bang. Please disambiguate by adding the fandom in parentheses after the ship. As long as it is clear what fandom you mean, you may use an abbreviation that makes sense to save on the amount of characters used. For example: S!Natasha Romanoff/S!Yelena Belova (MCU) and S!Natasha Romanoff/S!Yelena Belova (Marvel Cinematic Universe) would both be acceptable.

Happy Saturday! Nominations are open early and the tagset is here. Please refer to the nomination rules.

For ALL ships, whether the characters are canonically related or not, please specify how you wish the characters to be related if at all possible. The format for that is Relationship!Name/Relationship!Name (Fandom).

The following abbreviations of common relationships are permitted to save space: P = parent, C = child, G = grandparent, GC = grandchild, S = sibling, A = aunt or uncle, N = niece or nephew, NR = non-related (for threesome/moresome relationships with one non-related party). All abbreviations should be considered gender-neutral when applied to a character whose gender is not otherwise specified. Other relationships can be spelled out.

If characters are related but how is complicated/unclear or they're related in multiple ways, you can choose what seems most clear to you or how you prefer to see an unclear relationship or leave the tag as names only - if you do the latter, dropping a clarifying comment would be helpful! The mods aren't terribly picky, and aren't seeking to overlitigate your incest ships - we just want to make sure that everything is an incest ship, and not waste too much time trying to confirm that for all ships.
