I finished my au_bigbang fic (which is ... idk, all snapshots and issuefic and such with the occasional shippy stuff, including the inevitable incestuous femmeslashy vibes) and my brain is dead, so I'll post that later. Instead, the fandom gods brought me a meme.

5 - As a matter of fact, I feel that I have. Darcy Chuck Norris facts! Isn't it exactly what P&P needed?

16 - Some kind of SW/P&P fusion where Darcy is a Rebel prince and Elizabeth is a smuggler. And Georgiana is a Jedi.

19 - Um wow, there's a lot. One of mine is - hmm, okay, I had the distinct impression that there were quite a few human Narnian monarchs directly after the Pevensies vanished. It's not really clear where they came from, but my headcanon is that, a little while after HHB, Peter got married, perhaps to a nice Calormene lady (in a completely different way than Aravis), and they had a baby by the time the Pevensies vanished, who after a brief (because, Narnia) regency ruled after them. (I imagine they all sort of collectively raised the baby, but Susan particularly mothered him/her, and all the psychological cushioning in the world couldn't quite make her forget.)

21 - I got this one over at lj, so I'll choose something different than I did there. It's short, barely 2k, but one of my very favourites of mine is The Letters of Elizabeth Darcy (1796-1798), which is one of the few things I've done, ever, that is pretty much exactly what I intended it to be. It was also incredibly enjoyable to write, since it combines three of my favourite things (canon-compliance, a story through snapshots, and faux academia).

26 - I think "don't like, don't read" (or watch/listen/etc) is a ridiculous response that is generally nothing more than an attempt to invalidate criticism without actually addressing it. "Don't like, then YOU do better" is even worse.

Actually, amending the AU. It has suddenly occurred to me that EMMA as Darcy's twin separated at birth who's a Jedi would be considerably more awesome. And they should be hidden from their natural mother, Lady Susan.
