I got my acceptance letter! *flails happily*
To make matters better, they sent their analysis of my transfer credit (I'm a senior) - to whit:
-- The astronomy class I took when I was seventeen - wherein we all sat and looked at pretty pictures (Hubble Space Telescope FTW!) and occasionally scribbled a few equations and never (1) left the classroom, or (2) looked out the window - was not only accepted, but accepted as a lab science . . . namely, PHYSICS. Yes, really. Astronomy = physics = lab, even if you never look at anything but the overhead.
My university demands exactly four credits of lab science for the BA. Astronomy was a five credit class. Win!
-- Anthropology, psychology and sociology = all the non-lab science anyone needs!
-- Where other universities require, I don't know, more than five credits of hard science, this one requires four credits (four!) of performing arts. O Great Piano, please accept the humble gratitude of this thy servant.
-- The 'communications' category is, uh, not really an issue for English majors.
-- OMG NO MATH REQUIREMENTS AT ALL FOR NONMATHLY PEOPLE I WIN YAY FINE ARTS!!111!ELEVENTY!1!! No, really. NONE. We in Fine Arts are exempt. Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay! We have foreign language instead, which is so much more interesting. *weeps with joy*
Also, the cherry of delight on this sundae of joy? Mysperm donor birth father doesn't want me to go. Ha.
