I got a Tumblr ask about my favourite P&P fics, so I idly went searching to see if Alison ever did get around to re-posting "Indiscretions." She didn't, as far as I can tell, but unless my eyes deceive me, she DID post a revised version Force of Passion at AHA.

You didn't know about FoP? In some respects, I like the original better--she edited out a lot of the references and period metaphors, which I thought made it blander. I have a copy of the original version, if you'd like it. (Not of Indiscretions, alas.)

I didn't know! I mostly stay off AHA (as in, check in maybe once a year and only glance at a few things) and nobody mentioned it to me, so I was just checking if she was even still around and there were posts from her like... yesterday, and then FOP turned up. But ... huh, the period references and metaphors were half the fun of it, so that does sound peculiar.

I would actually love a complete copy!

I don't go to AHA often myself, and when I do I only go for the fic, but when a favorite disappears I will periodically search to see if it's been reuploaded anywhere.
