I'm not raising my hopes much in terms of the long-term, but I am glad that Pillowfort is going to make its immediate goal (it's got a bit over 39k now) and I figure I'll try it once I get paid.

*clappy hands* yay it got funded!!! I threw $5 at them earlier this week, and I'm really excited for the format!

Yay! I am, too. And I read the FAQ and all, and I'm glad they clarify that fundraising is not sufficient for a financial stream to maintain the site, so they have other methods, too.

They managed to reach their goal, I'm very happy! I had been using it as part of their second Beta Wave, and it's still a small community but it promises so much! <3
