I really want to be done with academia, but also, I don't want to lose my health insurance. My asthma medication would cost $400 a month and I take mood stabilizers and antipsychotics, too. My asthma is okay most of the time (though not during fire season!!), but the other two are PRETTY IMPORTANT to my peace of mind and survival, so stopping isn't really an option. But I'm so tired of this whole culture and... :(
