I’m thinking of submitting a story to Diabolical Plots even though a) they’ve had a gazillion submissions already and b) I had to cut it down to squeak past the basic requirements, which feels like a bad sign!!

(I do think it’s better for being cut down, at least, which is something. Sometimes that makes things worse, but not this time.)

I have no shame about editing to fit constraints and I'm already on my second Diabolical Plots submission this month, so I say go for it!
