anghraine1) I just hit 400 pages on the novel, which is daunting as far as future revisions go, but also kind of !!!!!
2) A 'lalala what sequels' SW post just got reblogged onto my dash, which is one thing, but it makes a point of using 'Leia Organa Solo' and that just seems such a weird hill to die on. And I have a bunch of weird hills to die on! But, "oh no, this iconic and powerful woman, whose entire people were wiped out in a massive genocide, canonically doesn't take her husband's name? HOW DARE" is so strange.
(I assume it's out of attachment to old EU Leia, but "Organa Solo" was a dumbass choice then, too, so the insistence on it remains bizarre.)

The naming convention wars remind me of the fears that Han and Leia weren't wearing wedding rings in the TFA trailer. As it turns out, the fears were well-founded, but: it's AGFFA! Everything is made up!Congrats on the page count! :D
