I’ll say that I didn’t come up with the idea of space Spanish at all—I saw it a lot and was kind of ????? about the general approach, and in tongues and quiet sighs was my attempt to make sense of it in terms of character and world-building. So there’s no need to credit me for the general idea of Alderaanians speaking space Spanish—I didn’t come up with that.
But if your version is influenced by specific details in my fic (e.g., space Spanish originated in Alderaan and spread under previous Alderaanian imperialism), then you’re definitely welcome to credit it to the fic, and I appreciate you doing so.
