There's a lot I like about Dreamwidth, but weirdly, non-rebloggability is one of those things. I get that it's probably doomed it to obscurity, given the nature of fandom these days, but the fact that I can talk about personal things without getting silent, inexplicable reblogs (and with only my access list seeing it, if I feel so inclined!) is so nice.

Heh, well, I vastly prefer it to Twitter and Discord and the like, but it definitely has structural and cultural problems. And there are people who reblog virtually anything I post and I'm just like ... uh, why do you want my random personal stuff on your blog?
