An Austen thing!

I've been talking on Tumblr about the idea I had to make a grand unified Austen calendar, with one caveat: each novel, except Persuasion, is set as closely as possible to the year(s) in which it was created, based on Cassandra Austen's note about the writing of the novels. Persuasion is excepted bc the years of the novel are explicitly stated in it, and S&S takes some guesswork, since Cassandra said that the earlier version of it was originally created some time before being written as S&S; I placed it partway between S&S and the Juvenilia and went with 1795-1797.

Anyway, I'm not done yet—I've gotten through NA, S&S, P&P, and MP—but it's a fun project. Eventually, I'll make a post about the main casts of the novels meeting in this "universe."
