My initial reaction was that I liked it! I'm also relieved it's not coming out until September; gives me some space in the summer to re-read The Silmarillion for the first time since I was a teenager.
I would kind of like to jump on a tv show version of a book series I loved as a kid! I'm not really there with The Wheel of Time or Foundations, but the trailer made me happy! And that's the point sometimes!
Ooh, hope you enjoy! I'm not sure how much of it the show will/is able to use because of rights issues, but they've got to have the Akallabêth at least in some form.
