uncomfortabel edition: How hot are Darcy, Cassian, Faramir?
I replied:
I’m pretty sure this was for a meme I forgot about, but ANYWAY
1) Darcy—okay, I recently saw a post about how we don’t even know if he’s good-looking or not, which is kind of hilarious, given that “his fine, tall person,” “handsome features,” and “noble mien” are the first things we hear about him, and Elizabeth herself says he’s “very handsome” before he shows up at Pemberley. Even Mrs Gardiner walks back her opinion that Wickham is handsomer because Darcy’s features are so “perfectly good” (before finding out Wickham’s true character). I meannnnn.
My headcanon is that he’s not as pretty as Wickham nor as hot as Wentworth, but just very classically handsome. He’ll age really well.
2) Cassian—it’s funny, because (bearing in mind that I’m not attracted to men, lol) I don’t think Diego Luna is all that attractive in many of his roles. But everyone is 10x hotter in SW, and Cassian is next level.
3) Faramir—absurdly tall with a “fair face” (amplified by his close resemblance to his brother “Boromir the Fair”) and long raven hair. I mean, that is a look. A sadly underappreciated look :(
I imagine Faramir’s (and Boromir’s) features as finer than Darcy’s but not as sharp as Cassian’s—probably the prettiest of the three, though not the hottest. I suspect that Cassian would win out there, in terms of visceral attractiveness to other people. Darcy is the most striking, though.
