It's been a couple of weeks since the shipping poll finale, so I think it's safe to say that the ultimate winner over here was, also, Elizabeth Bennet/Fitzwilliam Darcy.

I thought it was interesting, since the sample sizes were so different, that the results of each individual poll were almost identical to the Tumblr ones even if the proportions of the wins were different. The main different result was that the two Leia OT3s, Leia/Jyn/Cassian and Luke/Han/Leia, tied over here, where L/H/L clearly won at Tumblr. Justice for my rarepair pool noodle :D

But at least among my collective followers, Elizabeth/Darcy is always going to be a hard one to beat. OTP of ultimate destiny!

I think I voted for them too! It was a struggle but basically I'll always ship something that could be vidded to For Good from Wicked: "so much of me is made of what I learned from you... because I knew you, I have been changed for good."

I always think of a quote from some critic I don't remember, that went something like: "Elizabeth and Darcy influence each other for the better, yet the change comes from within." I love it for them :D

But yeah, difficult to surpass for sure!
