I have my issues with PT!Anakin and all, but omg, going from happy adrenaline-rush smiley Anakin at the beginning of ROTS to a widower, father of two, deranged Sith Lord within the course of a few months? ;_;

He goes to Naboo for Padmé's funeral--I think he's either hidden the girls away already by then, or brings them with him. But I will send the outline/proto-fic to you to clear everything up. :)
