Ha, I was actually about to say that in the post, and erased it because there are similarities. Leia is idealistic and fiercely principled, but, yeah.

That particular scene -- the whole scoundrel thing -- is actually taken almost word for word from GWTW, so it was definitely conscious. And they even play it up with the posters -- here's the classic ESB poster and here's GWTW's. It's kind of something interesting to poke at.
