(Haha, just remembering one of our early conversations when I was worried that my deep investment in Austen—who did end up making significant appearances in the dissertation, to the surprise of no one—might interfere with my ability to write Star Wars fanfic and you reassured me that an Austen flavor to SW fic was Good, Actually. I think it was about the first Lucy fic and Revenge of the Jedi, which I wrote while in undergrad... truly the long haul, lol.)
