anghraineI once had a therapist who had me take the Enneagram, which was … weird, but it’s a fun system for thinking about fictional characters. I’ve been primarily using it to get original characters clear in my mind, but now it’s like … what about our faves?
Say, Darcy for me: I could see a few others, but I’m inclined to go for Type One, with features of both the healthy and unhealthy aspects:
He has a weak Two wing (they can be “overbearing, patronizing, presumptuous” while Nine is reallyyy not him), but by the end, he mostly lands at just a solid healthy One:
Conscientious with strong personal convictions: they have an intense sense of right and wrong, personal, religious, and moral values. Wish to be rational, reasonable, self-disciplined, mature, moderate.
#elizabeth is a really balanced 7w8 #interestingly i'd also class faramir as 1w2 but at pretty purely healthy levels with a much more pronounced two wing #the holy skywalker trinity of anakin-luke-leia are all eights (fight me) but leia's an 8w7 while luke and anakin are 8w9s #though luke has a much more noticeable nine wing while anakin becomes lost in the toxic levels of type eight
