Writing genderbent fic isn't at all unusual for me, but writing genderbent fic for the juggernaut ship of a fandom that a large portion of my followers follow me for is, and I'd kind of forgotten how stark the difference in the responses can be. I wasn't thinking "I want to write something that will be more popular than my random GW2 or f!Faramir stuff," but can't lie, it's been really nice to get excited comments and messages about a current project, esp one with genderbending and f/f.

(Context: Love, Pride & Delicacy has picked up more kudos and comments in the last 16 hours than my previous genderbent fic has in its 8 months of existence. It's very fun, but very different from what I've gotten used to!)
