For context, this is from my new-ish GW2 fic. It begins with my protagonist, Gwen Velazquez, receiving news of her estranged sister Deborah's death in an ambush (the ambush is a canonical backstory option). Grenth is the human god of death and ice in the setting, and Gwen is devoutly religious.
