Grad school is gradually eroding my desire to stay in academia, and … tbh I don’t know if this is how most people feel, or the current climate, or part of the weeding-out process, or what. But mostly I just want to write fiction now.

#i love doing lit crit but ... at this point i can barely make myself read /anything/ #and i have exams to pass and my diss to make major progress on for this year #;_;

[ETA 10/3/2023: I passed my exams and am working on my dissertation, and ... I still really feel this. ;_;]
