It’s kind of amazing how it can be … oh, this has four hundred kudos, whatever for one fic, but then it’s incredibly exciting to have twenty-seven on something else.

Twenty-seven whole people liked my OFC gaming grudgefic! Two of them bookmarked it for the future. O_O

The smaller the fandom/the more niche the fic, the happier I am to get any attention at all--it's great to get kudos and comments no matter what, obviously, but it's especially nice when a story that you didn't expect would get a whole lot of attention finds an audience.

Yeah, exactly. I'm never unhappy to get them! It's just particularly exciting when it's something that you know perfectly well most people aren't going to be interested in (now it has twenty-EIGHT kudos, omg).
