Jyn/Cassian fandom has entered that phase where there is still a new fic or update everyday (lmao@ 'Rogue One fandom is dead'), but by and large they're increasingly remote from the movie at all. I mean, there were always some pretty out-there things, but I've never had a juggernaut where it didn't end up settling into wtf moderns, background pairing, interesting but peculiar AUs, TMI summaries, with the occasional a++ canonverse fic out of nowhere (usually one-shots). It's pretty much inevitable and there are lots of great fics still updating and being posted, but my AO3 filter is like...
