It’d be interesting to try a pairing that’s sort of out there! I can’t see myself writing Legolas fic, unfortunately (though I think I read some Legolas/Faramir in my hunt for Faramir Content back in the day). I do have a bit of some Éowyn/Lothíriel somewhere, though!

I’m thinking of other Éowyn ships—I do really like the idea of an Éowyn/Boromir warrior duo. I’ve seen “aww they would be cute platonic bros” but sometimes it’s like … yes … but also what if not bros???” I don’t know if that counts as crack, however. Probably the actual closest to that I’ve come is Tindómiel/Arwen, which I know would be Forbidden but /shrug. I came up with a whole alternate universe to make it work! I only wrote a little of it, though.

Hah, well, my early modernist PhD-in-progress is not particularly helpful on this point BUT

In a weird way, it’s easier for me to imagine a long-term relationship than a short-term one? I can’t see either of them doing anything casually, and I feel like they wouldn’t be able to get into a relationship at all until Kuvira has done a LOT of work on herself.

My 18th cent reading list has so many long novels in it that I’m going to perish over the next two months, but also I’m not sure if it’s comprehensive enough ;_;
