Feb. 5th, 2022 09:55 pmI don't really feel moved to write fic about Lalwen, but I'm so intrigued by the way the Lalwen-Fingolfin-Anairë-Eärwen situation wound out—Lalwen sticking with her brother while his wife stuck with her BFF. It's not that we should assume Fingolfin and Anairë didn't love each other or whatnot, but it's an interesting case where we see the force that platonic relationships can exert as well as romantic ones.
