I scraped past my first major hurdle with Larissa's team (knowledge cleric/Larissa, trickster cleric/Shadowheart, evocation wizard/Gale, champion fighter/Lae'zel). But damn, it was rough.

I'd forgotten about the crypt near the beginning of the game, which is basically the first dungeon. It's set more or less at level 2, while I just got to level 3, and where Alexandra's team breezed through the battles in her game, this group has ... not.

Okay, I also remade Alexandra (my BG3 paladin, initially Dark Urge and now fully customized) since Shadowheart-Wyll-Gale is basically hard mode. After replaying much of what I'd done before, I ended up with blood all over me again.

At least it was for a noble cause this time.

I started my Shadowheart run of Baldur's Gate 3 and I like playing her quite a bit, but damn I miss Alexandra's high CHA+proficiency in Persuasion. Nobody likes me anymore :(

I'm really loving Baldur's Gate 3 and I absolutely adore my paladin, Alexandra (see icon!).

But. I also really like four of the companions—Shadowheart, Gale, Karlach, and Wyll—and I want to bring them all along to have fun conversations and explore their stories and such. But there's only room for three. :(

Originally, I was going to play as Shadowheart before I got lured by the siren call of appearance customization, and that would give me the four characters I want. But Alexandra, my girl :(

Damn Larian for making their characters too engaging, lol.
