I went on a Korvira spree and reblogged a bunch more gifsets, most without comment beyond organizational tags and things like "#i just... #everything is perfect" and "!!!!!!!!!" and "I love this moment so much" (for a gif of Korra and Kuvira's faces blurring into each other in the Spirit World).

I also reblogged fanart of Korra and Kuvira hugging from kuvira-protege. They had added "Does anyone think, that they could be good friends like Aang and Zuko?" I tagged it #wait korvira content i haven't seen before?! #YES #YES THEY COULD HAVE #;_;

I’m thinking about it and tbh—if we’re looking at Elizabeth/Darcy specifically, P&P doesn’t always map well onto some things, and I think this might be one of them.

(The boring answer, I know.)

There are plenty of characters who are fierce and spirited like Elizabeth, but I don’t think many who are that and temperamentally light-hearted, while also fundamentally serious. Aang combines easy-going high spirits and strength of character, so he’s probably closest. Still, he’s a very different (esp gentler and, critically, humbler) personality. He’s more like a stronger Bingley.
